Of course Babe Ruth takes the cake, but what about in recent sports history?

Jeff Bagwell for crappy reliever Larry Anderson!:ohno:

Johns Smoltz for crappy pitcher Doyle Alexander

Derek Lowe and Varitek for Heathcliffe Slocumb

1993-The Los Angeles Dodgers trade pitcher Pedro Martinez to the Montreal Expos for Delino DeShields. (had no clue of this one)

Marshall Faulk to the Rams for a second and fifth rounder

The one that might be worse than all these mentioned is Victor Zambrano and a minor leaguer for SCOTT KAZMIR and a minor leaguer
Kazmir was as good a prospect as any plus he was a heat throwing lefty for literally a guy who every baseball fan knew was a dud

Robert Parrish and number 4 pick(Kevin McHale) for 1st pick in the draft(Joe Barry f'n Carrol)

So in essence Warriors traded Robert Parrish and Kevin McHale for Joe Barry fuckin Carrol.

Red struck again next year when he had some others team #1 via trade and got Larry Bird...........

I don't know about this one anymore. Liriano is hurt and in the minors, Bonser sucks and Nathan is a decent closer but no Billy Wagner by any means.

I was gonna mention this but i dont think its as crazy as it was two years ago, BUT of course this is lopsided, AJ gave them nothing but headaches

Nathan is better than Wagner ever was and Liriano is real young still dont forget

Liriano is pitching great again and will be back soon, Nathan is one of the very best closers in baseball & Wagner was not part of the trade.

Boof has sucked, but both he and Lariano are young, not even at their prime pitching age yet.

Celtics actually gave the Warriors 2 picks (#1 & #10) for #3 & Parrish.

that minor leaguer who just got traded for 10 bats. really if your getting someone for 10 bats, you may as well keep the bats.

A young Roberto Luongo for an old, washed up Todd Bertuzzi.

UNFUCKING REAL

Was Lindros the most hyped player ever?

Dont think Lebron could have gotten such a package if Cleveland dealt him before draft

Here's 2 lopsided deals involving the same player...

Some may not remember but there was a time when Dick Vitale was head coach of the Pistons when this deal was consummated:

In the 1979 NBA draft, the Pistons had the fifth pick and the Bucks had the 4th. The Pistons gave the Bucks $50,000 to swap places so that they could take Greg Kelser (Magic Johnson's teammate at Michigan State). The Bucks took Sidney Moncrief.

Moncrief ended up getting his jersey retired. Kelser never did much (Magic made him look really good in college) and Vitale was eventually fired.

In 1981 Kelser was traded in a deal that ended up being lopsided itself and figured prominently in Detroit's 2 titles and 3 trips to the finals. The Pistons traded Greg Kelser to the Sonics for Vinnie Johnson.
